With assistance from the public, Trolley Services Australia works with local government officials, trolley collection contractors and supermarket managers to achieve collaborative, measurable results to the benefit of all parties.
Who we are
The concept of Trolley Tracker™ was first developed in the early 1990’s by Chris Ford, Managing Director of Trolley Services Australia. At the end of the three-month pilot program at Jesmond in New South Wales only one supermarket trolley was unaccounted for. Based on these results, Trolley Tracker™ expanded over the next two decades to cover major retailers nationwide.
In 2015 Trolley Tracker’s™ popularity continues to grow, using the most up-to-date technology to adapt to emerging digital needs. The growing popularity of smart phones and mobile devices has seen newly developed IOS and Android mobile apps for Trolley Tracker™, plus unique online services making it easy for council officers to report trolleys.
Since 1994, Trolley Tracker™ has taken over 2 million reports for almost 3 million lost trolleys and has given away over $500,000 in prizes to vigilant members of the public who’ve taken the time to report to Trolley Tracker.
