Millionth Trolley Report Winner - May 2010

Susan Sharp of North Avoca on the New South Wales Central Coast has won a 32gb iPhone for lodging the one millionth trolley report to Trolley Tracker™ since the system was established in 1995.  Susan said she calls Trolley Tracker™ when the number of trolleys abandoned by shoppers makes streets near where she works look untidy.

Prize Winners for July 2010

NSW/ACT Winner
Woolworths, Campsie
Winner: Judith B.

Judith B regularly emails Trolley Tracker to report wayward trolleys. Judith began 'trolley tracking' a year ago when she retired and started a walking program. She takes a pad with her to accurately record the location of trolleys. The trolley Judith reported, which resulted in her prize, was spotted while riding on a bus - it's not often a bus ride results in a thousand dollar bonus. Judith doesn't like waste and she doesn't like the idea of trolleys ending up in the local river or being destroyed and she is certainly playing her part to address the problem. Good work Judith.

QLD Winner
Woolworths,  Deception Bay
Winner: Karl N.

Karl N. has reported four or five trolleys previously. He first heard about Trolley Tracker™ when he picked up a leaflet in his local store. Karl supports a family and says he is going to use his reward to purchase a few things for himself. We think you deserve a treat Karl - good for you.

VIC/TAS Winner
Safeway, Hadfield
Winner: Rocco L.

Rocco L is the latest trolley spotter to pick up a four-figure reward for reporting a wayward shopping trolley. He said “my friends have a bit of a laugh at me for reporting lost trolleys to Trolley Tracker but I think it's the right thing to do  and if everyone did it there would be fewer trolleys left in our streets”. Rocco is now the one laughing – all the way to the bank-after he won a $1,000 open order reward for his efforts.

SA/NT Winner
Woolworths, Nightcliff
Winner: Deb H.

Reporting wayward shopping trolleys is a well-established and rewarding habit for Deb who has won a $1,000 reward for the second time in twelve months. Deb is committed to reporting trolleys after her regular daily walk. Upon returning home Deb reports wayward trolleys she has spotted online at www.trolleytracker.com.au. Reporting online gives her even more chances to win the monthly prize. Told of her second win this year, Deb said “to say I’m thrilled is an understatement! Last year’s win really helped my family and with a 21st birthday coming up this bonus couldn’t have come at a better time!”

WA Winner
Woolworths, Broome
Winner: Len L.

Len L has been reporting trolleys for about two years. He picked up a leaflet at his local store and thought it was 'a good idea to report trolleys'. Each week, as he travels around the neighbourhood doing maintenance work, Len says he sees at least one trolley. Reporting one of those trolleys to Trolley Tracker™ has resulted in a wonderful bonus for Len.
